Redwood Falls operates three public housing projects.

Lakeside ManorLakeside Manor

Lakeside Manor is a 60-unit residential facility located at 300 South Minnesota Street on scenic Lake Redwood. Originally built and owned by the federal Housing and Urban Development department, the facility is locally managed by the Redwood Falls Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA). Assisted living services are available to residents on a contractual basis. Income guidelines do apply for residence. For more information, contact the Redwood Falls HRA at 507-637-2221.

SouthwaiteSouthwaite

The second public housing is The Homes of Southwaite. This unique residential living complex consists of 32 townhomes at Southwaite Court at the intersection of Normandale and Gould streets. These rental units offer residents their choice of two or three bedroom rental units with one-story or two-story floor plans. Private entrances, in-unit laundry, and private garages are some of the features of this neighborhood. Southwaite is owned by the Redwood Falls Port Authority. For more information, contact J.W. Aspenwood TerraceAspenwood

The third public housing development is Aspenwood Terrace. Located on Aspenwood Drive in the south-central portion of Redwood Falls, these rental townhouse units are truly a cut above the conventional. All 16 units are on one level with two full baths, private entrances and patios, and in-unit private laundry. Choose from a selection of two or three bedroom units with single or double garages.
