Redwood Falls Law Enforcement Torch Run

The Redwood Falls Police Department is hosting the 4th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Legion Park (400 North Drew Street).

Come walk, jog, run, or ride your bike through the 5k or 10k course.  Cost of the 5k course is $25 and $35 for the 10k course.  All participants will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt.  Water stations will be set up and volunteers from the Rapid Response Team will be on hand to assist anyone throughout the course.  If you are unable to participate in the 5k or 10k course come cheer everyone on at Legion Park and buy a Law Enforcement Torch Run T-shirt for only $15. You can also come to the Redwood Falls Police Department and purchase a T-shirt before the event.  All proceeds from the run and T-shirt sales will benefit Special Olympics Minnesota.  Registration for the event will begin at 9:00 a.m., the 10k course will start at 10:00 a.m. and the 5k course will start at approximately 10:10 a.m.  You can also preregister by going to redwood-falls.kintera.org. After the run, the Good Samaritan Society is inviting the public to Legion Park where they will again be hosting a hamburger cookout.  For a free will donation they will be serving hamburgers, chips and a drink.  All proceeds from the cookout will go to Special Olympics Minnesota as well.
